Due to a delay by Congress in extending unemployment benefits and a continued slow economy,
we have recently experienced more requests from needy citizens for food supplies.

To meet this challenge and to increase the supply of food for families in the Clayton area,
food bins have been placed at various locations accessible to the public throughout the Clayton area
for donated non-perishable food items.  

Thus far, eight bins have been placed.
It is anticipated that there will be a total of ten locations.
